REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate tenant turnover data is captured, maintaining records of company-owned assets, and ensuring the trial balance is accurate through precise journal postings and reconciliations.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Degree in Financial Accounting

Minimum of two years of property industry experience

Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles/internship of at least 3 years

MDA package software experience

Intermediate computer literacy in Windows, MS Word, and Excel
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure monthly turnover figures are captured on MDA and approve tenant rental charges

Review and manage inputs from debtors, creditors, and banking administrators

Perform weekly bank reconciliations and monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Manage asset movement, depreciation, and the fixed asset register

Ensure inter-company accounts balance and perform VAT calculations
