We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of traditional and modern sushi preparation, excellent knife skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Culinary Arts qualification (Diploma/Certificate preferred)
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to create a complete sushi menu from scratch
• Strong knowledge of modern sushi trends and contemporary dishes
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards and ability to maintain high kitchen hygiene

We are inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Human Resources Manager within our hospitality operations. This role is critical in supporting our people strategy, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labour legislation while maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• A Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field is required.
• Several years of HR experience, including management exposure
• Experience in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, and performance management is essential.
• Key skills include excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, leadership and team management, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

RESPONSIBLITY:

• Oversee the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
• Partner with departmental heads to support staffing needs and workforce planning
• Drive employee engagement initiatives aligned with hospitality service standards
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and industry regulations
• Manage employee relations, including disciplinary processes and conflict resolution

REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate tenant turnover data is captured, maintaining records of company-owned assets, and ensuring the trial balance is accurate through precise journal postings and reconciliations.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Degree in Financial Accounting

• Minimum of two years of property industry experience

• Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles/internship of at least 3 years

• MDA package software experience

• Intermediate computer literacy in Windows, MS Word, and Excel

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure monthly turnover figures are captured on MDA and approve tenant rental charges

• Review and manage inputs from debtors, creditors, and banking administrators

• Perform weekly bank reconciliations and monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Manage asset movement, depreciation, and the fixed asset register

• Ensure inter-company accounts balance and perform VAT calculations

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Strong understanding of internal controls and Delegations of Authority

• Highly organized with the ability to meet strict financial planning deadlines

• Exceptional attention to detail in checking trial balances and accruals

• Ability to work effectively within a professional finance team
