Meet our new Assistant Banqueting Manager, Sasha-Lee Lindoor

We are excited to announce that Sasha-Lee Lindoor has joined the @Sandton Hotel team as our Assistant Banqueting Manager. With over 11 years of experience in the event management industry, Sasha-Lee brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of delivering exceptional events.

Please can you tell us about your career thus far?

I have worked in the Event Management industry for 11 years now and have managed and produced over 300 flawless events across South Africa. I’ve worked across multiple regions, with a strong operational focus and a hands-on attitude in a fast-paced environment. 

What are some of your career highlights?

Some of the events that I am incredibly proud to have worked on include the DSTV Delicious Festival from 2015 to 2019, with attendance ranging from 50 000 to 75 000, the Forever Young Ball by the House of Mandela, the Global Citizen Festival in 2018, and the Durban July’s Boomtown and private client marquees from 2015 to 2019, which accommodated up to 100 000 people. 

Why were you keen to join the @Sandton Hotel team as Assistant Banqueting Manager?

I previously worked with the venue before as an Event Manager, and was so impressed by how they handled my events. I wanted to join the team to build on what was already a successful venue using my unique skill set.

Why is @Sandton Hotel popular for events, and what kind of events would you recommend to clients to host here?

I would recommend clients use @Sandton for their conferences, training, gala dinners, and launches. The team is equipped to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that every client has a successful event.
